NI Jun 倪军

Ni Jun, born in1963, Tianjin. He received his Master Degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and settled in New York in 1991. Currently lives and works in Beijing.

 

Ni Jun as the first students of the high school attached of CAFA after the Cultural Revolution. After studying with Yuan Yunfu in Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, he studied at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with Leon Goleb in the U.S. He has many solo exhibitions, given lectures in art academies in China and the U.S. over the years.

 

Ni Jun is one of the Chinese artists has the most philosophical speculations and theoretical accomplishment, his creations are focusing on the complex of humanity and the natural profound mystery, especially paying attention to the spirit of the natural scenery and elegant scenes of life, with Ni's keen visual observation and leisurely brush stroke, the spirit of modern life has been brought to classical paintings.
